Esri International User Conference

July 23, 2012 - July 27, 2012

Location: San Diego, California

Geospatial technology water and wastewater professionals from across the world will convene in San Diego July 23–27 for the Esri International User Conference (Esri UC). This is the largest event of its kind, with more than 14,000 attendees; hundreds of presentations by Esri software users; and sessions on key topics such as deploying operations data, leveraging imagery resources and managing utility assets.

Besides presentations and technical sessions, user group meetings will be offered for specific areas of utility expertise, and an evening reception is planned exclusively for the water and wastewater GIS community. The GIS Solutions EXPO will feature hundreds of vendors offering products and services tailored to utility needs, as well as demonstrations of leading utility GIS projects. The exhibit hall will provide attendees with one-on-one technical support, hands-on training and access to Esri's water and wastewater team.

"As more and more water and wastewater organizations realize how the cloud can help save them time and money, the emphasis moves to deploying GIS in the cloud," says Armstrong. "Fortunately, the new capabilities of ArcGIS 10.1 bring GIS to the cloud, and the conference is the place to go for firsthand access to the latest developments in GIS and the cloud."
