Mactec Engineering & Consulting recently finished a major environmental construction inspection services project from the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati.

The Metropolitan Sewer District serves the wastewater removal and treatment needs of over 800,000 customers in Hamilton County, Ohio. According to Metropolitan Sewer District Senior Engineer Greg Doherty, Mactec conducted environmental construction inspection services for the Cooper Creek and Taylor Creek projects, both of which involved stream crossings.

Doherty said the key tasks undertaken by Mactec included reviewing the contractors’ erosion control plan, conducting onsite inspection to ensure that erosion control measures were followed and making onsite recommendations for the protection of riparian areas.
