Anvil Intl., a manufacturer of pipe fittings, pipe hangers and piping support systems, announced the promotion of Brandon Gunnell to director of marketing. The company is a subsidiary of Mueller Water Products Inc., a provider of water infrastructure products and services.
In his new role, Gunnell will manage the global marketing of Anvil’s complete product line. He brings more than 20 years of industry-specific sales experience, including 10 years with Anvil. Most recently, he served as the company’s regional sales manager for the western U.S. His achievements in this position included increasing regional sales by 28% in just two years and helping to grow the company’s relationship with key clients.
Before joining Anvil, Gunnell held senior sales positions at a large wholesale distributor, overseeing a rapidly growing Denver branch, developing new markets and handling successful product introductions. He began his career with a master distributor in Salt Lake City, establishing the company’s western U.S. location from the ground up, developing the customer base, sales and operations procedures.
