Wago to Offer Customer Training

Feb. 13, 2014
Training will be held at the company's Milwaukee-area headquarters

Wago Corp. is hosting free I/O customer training seminars throughout 2014. Held at the company's Milwaukee-area headquarters, this three-day course combines lectures and practical hands-on demonstrations. In an open forum, Wago will provide an overview of control basics and the features of Wago I/O-System software and hardware.

The 2014 training schedule is as follows:

  • • March 25 to 27, 2014
  • • May 13 to 15, 2014
  • • Aug. 19 to 21, 2014
  • • Oct. 7 to 9, 2014
  • • Nov. 4 to 6, 2014

Product managers and experts will discuss control theory, hardware, network topologies and Wago I/O-System functionality. Attendees have the opportunity to perform CoDeSys-based programming exercises on live nodes featuring Wago's 750-880 Ethernet 2.0 controller with SD card. Participants will learn functions such as data logging, coding and Web integration.

In a classroom setting, attendees may discuss specific application challenges with specialists who can address questions via Wago I/O-System best practices, specialty functions and software. The seminars are broad enough to challenge established professionals while guiding newer ones. Customers represent Fortune 500 companies in process, energy, motion and discrete sectors such as food manufacturing, facility management, non-automotive transport, renewables and utilities.

Wago will provide all course materials and meals. Attendees are responsible for bringing an Ethernet-ready laptop, and for transportation/lodging fees. Wago will assist with coordinating ground travel, and has negotiated lodging rates. Seminars are limited to 12 attendees and registration is required.
