Eagle River Water & Sanitation District's subscription includes licenses for 40 staff members

Eagle River Water & Sanitation District selected IDModeling Inc.’s flagship smart water and wastewater enterprise software, Sedaru.

Sedaru is a real-time solution to connect organizational data, systems and people across the water enterprise by leveraging hydraulic, asset and operational management analytics so utilities can anticipate water operations, understand impacts and solve problems for energy, quality, water resource and asset management initiatives.

Eagle River Water & Sanitation District provides water and sewer services to an area of more than 54,000 acres, including the town of Vail, Colo., and surrounding areas. The district will be deploying Sedaru throughout its water and wastewater enterprise to connect its Esri ArcGIS, Cityworks CMMS and hydraulic model in real-time with office and field staff.

The district's subscription includes licenses for 40 staff that will be used to support and enhance a variety of roles, including asset management, emergency outage planning and response, executive management and oversight, operational optimization, simulations, mobile work management and more.

"We’re excited about using the Sedaru smart water network to connect and empower our utility,” said Ed Trainer, information technology manager for the district. “Sedaru will make it easy for us to leverage the knowledge of every employee to optimize our day-to-day operations as well as our long-term capital planning, and to continually improve the service that we deliver to our customers.”

”The entire district team is very forward-thinking,” said Kevin Koshko, Sedaru product director. “They understand both the immediate and long-term benefits of the Sedaru smart water network, and we're looking forward to delivering actionable business intelligence that helps connect their people, processes and data."
