Dennis J. “Chip” LaBonte II will oversee the company’s wastewater and water treatment plant operations nationwide

PC Construction announced the promotion of Dennis J. “Chip” LaBonte II to the position of vice president. In his new role, LaBonte will oversee PC Construction’s wastewater and water treatment plant operations nationwide and strengthen the company’s executive leadership for project teams in this market.

LaBonte joined the PC Construction team in 2003 as a project manager and spent the next three years managing the $40.5 million Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and Improvements project. In 2011, following the management of several successful projects—including the award-winning $118 million H.L. Mooney Water Reclamation Facility Expansion—he was promoted to senior project manager and, two years later, took on the role of construction executive responsible for PC Construction’s operations in North Carolina and the Tidewater region of Virginia.

“We are excited to have Chip take on this new role with PC Construction,” said President and CEO Kevin McCarthy. “His executive leadership of our water treatment construction operations will help bridge the evolution of this key part of our business.”

LaBonte, a native Vermonter, is a Norwich University graduate and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He has devoted the past 20 years to the construction industry, specializing in mechanical installations.
