CH2M has announced the appointment of Leofwin Clark as president of the Water Design-Build Council (WDBC), effective Jan. 1. Formerly, Clark served as first vice president and treasurer of the organization.

Clark joined CH2M in 1996 and works as a vice president and sales director in the firm’s Denver, Colo. headquarters. He brings more than 25 years of experience to his role as WDBC president. His focus on collaborative delivery for major infrastructure and U.S. government projects, including design-build, design-build-operate, public-private partnerships and contract operations/privatization throughout his career, make Mr. Clark an ideal candidate for this expanded leadership role within WDBC. Mr. Clark received his Master’s in Urban Planning from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York and his Bachelor’s in Urban Studies from Columbia University.

CH2M is a charter member of the WDBC, a not-for-profit association established in 2006 to educate best practices in design-build and construction management-at-risk procurement delivery. Implementing this mission occurs through education and outreach, serving in a leadership role as an industry advocate for the value of collaborative delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. In his new role as president, Mr. Clark will continue to be an industry thought leader, promoting technical practices and advancing education and research committees on behalf of WDBC.
