Cityworks Staff Earns Asset Management Certifications

July 19, 2016
Becky Tamashasky, Billy Lang certified by Institute of Asset Management

Cityworks announced that two additional employees—Becky Tamashasky, executive director of product roadmap, and Billy Lang, industry practices manager—have earned certification from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM). IAM is the professional group for those involved in the acquisition, operation and care of physical assets, especially critical infrastructure.

IAM is a non-profit organization that helps professionals expand their understanding of asset management. IAM provides in-depth research and standards for asset management around the world. By earning this certification, Tamashasky and Lang are able to support Cityworks development and deployment to help clients meet their asset management goals.

"We recognize organizations are embracing the principles of asset management outlined in governing documents such as ISO 55000,” said Lang.  “It’s important that we [Cityworks] are current with the practice and able to articulate our role in the management and delivery of Cityworks as an effective asset management system.”

“In any business, people make the difference,” said Brian Haslam, president and CEO of Cityworks. “We're proud of the staff in all our offices—their dedication to our clients is unmatched, and their drive to stay on top of the trends, best practices and latest technology is what keeps us ahead. The success of Cityworks is measured best by the feedback I receive from our clients complimenting our team, and that makes all the difference.”
