David Dolphin Joins Ayyeka

New director of water sector brings 20 years of experience

Ayyeka, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company, announced it has hired David Dolphin as director of its Water Sector. Dolphin will oversee Ayyeka’s water and wastewater business lines globally, with special emphasis on sales development in the U.S. He comes to the company with experience in managing disruptive new technologies, smart networks, streamlining logistics, and working with municipalities on water quality and service.

Prior to joining Ayyeka, Dolphin served for 20 years in various executive positions at Veolia, including vice president of sales – digital offers for North America, managing director of the sensors group ENDETEC, and general manager of various equipment and services businesses. He also has previously served in senior water market positions at Hanovia, Kalsep and Rohm & Haas.

“With our continued expansion throughout North America and as we gain additional traction in Europe, David’s technological expertise, industry contacts, and vast experience in creating smart water networks makes him an excellent addition to Ayyeka’s executive team. David will be leading Ayyeka’s growth in the water and wastewater sector,” said Ariel Stern, Ayyeka CEO and co-founder.

Dolphin is a graduate of Aston University in Birmingham, England, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a member of the American Water Works Assn.

Dolphin will host a free webinar on "Better Sewer Management: Minimizing Environmental Impacts," March 16, 2017, at noon EST. Participants will learn all about preventing wastewater contamination, ensuring compliance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency combined sewer outflow (CSO) control policy, and reducing environmental impacts while protecting public health. The webinar will include an overview of wastewater management best practices, the inner workings of smart sewer networks, as well as a Q&A session with Dolphin.
