Green Infrastructure Webinar Series Announces First 2017 Webcast

EPA’s Office of Wastewater Management to host series

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Wastewater Management will be hosting its first webcast of the 2017 Green Infrastructure Webinar Series Tuesday, March 14, 1 to 2:30 p.m. EDT.

The webcast will feature the work of two grantees of EPA’s Science to Achieve Results (STAR) grant program, who are working to achieve new insights and promote continued green infrastructure implementation and innovation in communities across the country.

Don Katnik with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will illustrate how urban planners can use geospatial information systems to map regional development for the purpose of preserving and enhancing green infrastructure. Robert Traver with Villanova University will focus on the performance monitoring of urban green infrastructure practices in Philadelphia.
