BOD Test

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) is an international regulatory environmental index for monitoring organic pollutants in wastewater. The current legislated standard test requires five days to complete. CheckLight developed a unique technology for determination of BOD in water in only three to four hours. Data analysis is straightforward: the higher the luminescence, the higher is the concentration of utilizable carbon. Acquiring this vital information in real time enables timely corrective measures in wastewater processing, and elimination of risk of heavy fines due to BOD limit excess.
