Hague Quality Water Intl., a manufacturer of water treatment systems based in Groveport, Ohio, has announced a distributorship with Aquaphor Corp. of St Petersburg, Russia. Aquaphor manufactures of point of use (POU) water filters.
HQWI will distribute Aquaphor’s bayonet style, “water on water” 5-liter-tank reverse osmosis unit, the Aquaphor RO 100.
Aquaphor Corp. is the largest home water filter manufacturer in Russia with more than 1,000 full-time employees.
According to Nick Hague, HQWI’s Drinking Water products manager, the system appealed to HQWI because of its innovative design and efficient performance. The successful implementation of the “water on water” approach to RO water treatment reduces the amount of space needed to place the unit by 1/3.
The relationship with Aquaphor Corp. developed over 15 years ago, when Aquaphor began to distribute HQWI water treatment products throughout Russia
