KMS Names Italy Sales Manager

Giuseppe Guglielmi will serve water & wastewater end-users as well as system & facilities engineers throughout Italy

Koch Membrane Systems Inc. (KMS) announced that the Koch Membrane Systems Div. of John Zink KEU GmbH has hired Giuseppe Guglielmi to the company as regional sales manager, water & wastewater for their Italy region. Guglielmi will be responsible for serving industrial and municipal water and wastewater end-users as well as system and facilities engineers throughout the region.

Since 2003 he has worked on membrane bioreactor technology for wastewater treatment with a special focus on process optimization, modelling and automation for energy saving. He co-authored book chapters and several publications in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Since 2008 he was technical director of ETC Eng. Ltd, a consulting firm he co-established, with an additional responsibility for the commercial launch of the Oscar process controller technology. In this position he has built strong contacts with the most important EPCs and market operators in Italy.

“Giuseppe has great process and design experience and will be a significant asset in serving customers within the region” said Chris King, European sales director, water & wastewater at KMS. “He has a demonstrated ability in helping end-users address the issues that are most important in creating operational reliability and efficiency.”

Guglielmi comes to KMS with more than 10 years of experience in the water & wastewater sector. He has a MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan (1999) and a PhD in Sanitary Engineering from the University of Trento (2003). Guglielmi will be based in the company’s office in Monza Brianza, Italy.
