FreeWave Receives 2014 M2M Evolution IoT Excellence Award

FreeWave Technologies, a provider of industrial, secure machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) wireless networking solutions, announced its WavePoint platform was named a recipient of the 2014 M2M Evolution IoT Excellence Award from M2M Evolution magazine.

The WavePoint platform is custom-built to solve the M2M communications challenges of FreeWave’s customers by providing a choice of wireless frequencies and network deployment functions to best suit any application in the emerging Industrial Internet of Things.

The 2014 M2M Evolution IoT Excellence Award honors products that support the availability of information being deduced, inferred and directly gathered from sensors, systems and anything else that enables better business and personal decisions. WavePoint specializes in securely communicating industrial data over long distances to deliver M2M, broadband and SCADA system applications for oil and gas producers, government and defense contractors, agricultural equipment manufacturers, electric power and water/wastewater utilities, municipalities and more.
