Cambrian Innovation Names Vice President of Sales

Baji Gobburi brings decades of water leadership to biotechnology provider

Cambrian Innovation announced that Baji Gobburi joined the company as the new vice president of sales. Drawing on his two decades of leadership roles in the industrial water and clean energy industries, Gobburi will accelerate Cambrian’s customer pipeline and lead global business development.

“Cambrian Innovation is hitting our stride. We have completed several successful installations of our EcoVolt technology, and our sales pipeline is over $100 million,” said Cambrian Innovation CEO Matthew Silver. “Baji’s extensive experience in the water and energy sector is the right recipe to capitalize on strong customer demand and deploy our advanced biotechnology broadly.” 

Gobburi comes to Cambrian from Energy Recovery Inc. (ERI), where he served as director of business and product development. Prior to ERI, Gobburi held various global management positions at General Electric (GE) Water & Process Technologies, including general manager of Caribbean desalination operations and field services leader for North America chemicals. Gobburi also held positions at environmental consulting firms, Integrated Environmental Solutions Inc., and TRC Environmental Cos. Inc.
