De Nora Acquires Ozone Technology Provider

De Nora, a provider of electrochemical technologies, announced the acquisition of Ozono Elettronica Internazionale (OEI), a designer and manufacturer of ozone generator technologies for advanced oxidation processes in industrial and environmental applications.

The acquisition represents a development for De Nora, which is pursuing the development and extension of its diversified portfolio with a special focus on the water and agro-food sectors.

Founded in 1970 OEI, an Italian company with headquarters close to Milan, has a strong presence in the international market with more than 1,200 ozone applications worldwide. The company is recognized for developing advanced ozone technologies and providing a comprehensive portfolio of products and engineering services. Its integrated offering includes ozone generators, vent destroyers, contact systems, safety and process control devices and accessories as well as complete customized projects and package units for specific applications.

“The achievement of this important acquisition,” said Paolo Dellachà, CEO of De Nora, “is an important first step in attaining our goal to be a leader in meeting the booming demand for innovative water treatment technologies. This acquisition also creates great synergies that will benefit our customers around the world.”
