Duperon recognized; PolyCera announces distribution agreement

Duperon Recognized With Award

Duperon Corporation has been honored by the board of directors and staff of Saginaw Future Inc. with an Economic Excellence Award for outstanding contribution to the economy of Saginaw, Mich., in 2018. The Economic Excellence Awards recognize Saginaw County development projects that were assisted by Saginaw Future Inc. The awards celebrate the growth of local and regional economy that includes job creation and retention, new investment and community development. Duperon was presented with the award at a luncheon at the Horizon Conference Center, Saginaw on February 22.

“We are grateful to be so closely connected to the Saginaw community” said Mark Turpin,  Duperon President. “We fundamentally believe that business is a force for good. This award is a special honor because it acknowledges the impact that business can have on the community. A business provides a job and that job brings the dignity that comes from providing for ourselves and our families through the efforts of our own labor. But the impact goes far beyond the individual to all that he or she touches, blessing our community and regions. We have always been humbled to be engaged in this aspect of business and it truly drives us here at Duperon.”

PolyCera Announces Distribution Agreement

PolyCera has signed a rolling two-year distribution agreement with Inaqua Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH (Inaqua) to represent its highly differentiated portfolio of membrane products in 25 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Inaqua will market and sell PolyCera’s complete range of organic metal membranes, which includes the oleophobic, hydrophilic high temperature Titan products and the FDA-approved Hydro range of Spiral Monolith products.

Xylem Offers Online Aftermarket Sales

Xylem has extended its online sales platform to enable customers to place online orders for Sanitaire aeration replacement parts for fine bubble aeration in wastewater treatment.

“Water utilities are seeking alternative ways to order replacement parts,” said Adam McNeill, North American Sales Manager, Biological and Aeration, Xylem. “With an online aftermarket sales site, we can offer our customers the convenience of online ordering, faster delivery and expediency for future ordering.”

Taronis Acquires Industrial Gas Distributor

Taronis Technologies, Inc. has announced that the Company has completed the acquisition of one of the largest independently owned industrial gas distributors in Los Angeles, Calif. The acquired company generates approximately $4.5 million in annual sales, and has five retail locations across the Los Angeles metro market.  

The acquired company also sells industrial gases and welding supply products into the Mexican markets in Baja California and Sonora, through a relationship with one of the largest independent industrial gas operators in the region. The transaction was structured as an asset purchase, with a cash purchase price of $2.5 million.

MPW’s Inaugural Supplier of the Year Award goes to Action Supply Products

MPW Industrial Services awarded its first-ever Supplier of the Year Award to Action Supply Products, Inc.

Headquartered in Imperial, Pa., and with additional facilities in Newark, Ohio and Gastonia, N.C., Action Supply specializes in providing personal protective equipment and other industrial supply items such as hardhats, safety glasses, hazmat suits and sanitation and janitorial products.
 

CST Announces 2018 Top Dealer Award Winner

CST Industries, Inc. has announced the 2018 Dealer Awards winners for outstanding sales and service. The Award Ceremony was held on Monday, Feb. 25, in Cape Coral, Fla.

Fracta Releases New Software

Fracta has extended the capabilities of its market leading Fracta Likelihood of Failure (LOF) software to include Consequence of Failure (COF) and Business Risk Exposure (BRE). With LOF, COF and BRE, Fracta enables water utilities to assess and monetize the business risk associated with the failure of drinking water distribution mains.

Fracta's approach provides an objective assessment and translates the results into financial terms that water engineers, planners and finance professionals can use to make fast, accurate and capital-efficient risk mitigation decisions about buried water main infrastructure.
