Iron and Manganese Removal

Aug. 9, 2018

Hungerford & Terry developed the continuous regeneration (CR) process for removing iron and manganese from water in 1963. In 2005, GreensandPlus was introduced to provide several operational advantages. Chlorine alone can now be used to maintain the oxidative state of the bed (no potassium permanganate is required), and the media can withstand high differential pressure and is tolerant to low solids/low silica waters.
