The Optiflow 270 Retrofit Baffle System improves grit removal efficiency for existing 270° vortex grit chambers. Grit removal systems designed to meet previous standards can be upgraded to remove 95% of all grit down to 150 microns. The baffle is simple to install, not only in flat-floor vortex chambers manufactured by Smith & Loveless and others, but also in sloped and cone-shaped chambers with an included conversion kit.
