National Rural Water Assn. to support EPA Region 8

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected the National Rural Water Assn. as the Environmental Finance Center (EFC) to support technical assistance and training for municipalities within the jurisdiction of EPA Region 8, which includes Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.

EPA's Water Finance Center manages and supports 10 EFC’s located across the country. They provide solutions to communities to help manage the costs of environmental protection programs and activities. Since 1992, the EFC’s have been working to promote sustainable environmental and financial practices throughout the U.S.

EPA's Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center is an information and assistance center, helping communities make informed decisions for drinking water, wastewater, and storm water infrastructure to protect human health and the environment.
