Nov. 10, 2016
Sterling Natural Resource Center to hold special event

The Sterling Natural Resource Center is promoting a vital message during America Recycles Day—water, a precious resource, needs to be recycled, too. America Recycles Day is a national initiative of Keep America Beautiful held on Nov. 15.

The wastewater treatment facility is hosting the Recycle Water, Too! event to coincide with America Recycles Day. The even intends to elevate the importance of water recycling and to celebrate the launch of the new Sterling facility.

The event will be held Nov. 15, 2016, 5 to 7 p.m. at the future site of the Sterling Natural Resource Center at Del Rosa Drive and Sixth Street in San Bernardino, Calif. Area dignitaries and members of the community will celebrate the launch of the project, take a pledge to recycle, and provide a unique and visual alternative to America Recycles Day events

The event will include interactions with a 3D model that showcases the travels of every water drop on its way to being recycled; banner-signing by community members taking the America Recycles Pledge; and presentations by project representatives.
