In 2024, our top 10 articles of the year focused more on topics impacting the day-to-day operations of facilities. While that trend continued in 2024, readers appeared more interested in the year's regulatory change and some bigger news pieces regarding alleged Clean Water Act violations. Twice on this list are articles relating to solids management, particularly in the face of uncertain futures regarding PFAS in biosolids.

Interestingly, our top two most read pieces of the year are from our What Is article series, which is just shy of 100 total articles. Maybe you have a new employee you're looking to bring up to speed on a wastewater concept, or perhaps you're looking for a refresher on some industry terminology. Regardless of the reason, these articles are aimed at creating an educational floor for wastewater professionals, which we will continue to produce in 2025.

What follows are our Top 10 Articles for 2025.
