Charlotte Water and Town Brewing company — with the help of Xylem and a local brewer in Town Brewing — developed and brewed an IPA with sustainable recycled water from the city's wastewater plant using advanced treatment technologies. Not only was the beer safe to drink, it was also well loved by beer drinkers and judges alike as it took home the award for Best in Show at the Queen City Brewers Festival.
